New OBEClust Paper Highlights European Collaboration Across Obesity Research

A new publication introduces OBEClust, a pan-European initiative that brings together obesity prevention researchers to strengthen collaboration and maximise the impact of research across Europe.

The paper highlights how OBEClust provides a coordination framework to strengthen collaboration across existing research projects by aligning research methods, promoting knowledge exchange and supporting the translation of scientific evidence into policy action. By connecting expertise and encouraging collaboration across disciplines, countries, and sectors, OBEClust aims to accelerate the translation of scientific evidence into effective policy and practice. 

Breaking down research silos is essential if we want evidence to translate into meaningful obesity prevention policies. The challenge of obesity is complex. Our response must be equally connected.

OBEClust brings together nine EU-funded research projects, including Obelisk. We are proud to contribute to this collaborative effort, helping build stronger connections between researchers, policymakers, and other stakeholders working towards healthier futures across Europe.
